What is NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the new way of providing individualised support for people with disability, their families and carers.

The NDIS is the insurance that gives us all peace of mind. Disability could affect anyone and having the right support makes a big difference.

The NDIS provides eligible people a flexible, whole-of-life approach to the support needed to pursue their goals and aspirations and participate in daily life.

Getting started

Transitioning to the NDIS and not sure where to begin? A chat with one of our experienced staff is a great place to start.

We will work closely with you, your family and carers to make sure you are connected to the right services and supports for your unique needs. Whether you’re unsure about your NDIS eligibility, keen to make the most of your funding package, are exploring your accommodation options or would like to connect with activities in your community, ICLA can assist.

Am I eligible?

There are a few key eligibility requirements you’ll need to meet in order to receive funding under the NDIS. These relate specifically to your age, location and whether you meet the criteria for disability support or early intervention.

To find out if you may be able to receive assistance, give our experienced staff a call. You can also use the NDIS My Access Checker.
